Rustic Falls, LLC, doing business as R.F. Engraving (“R.F. Engraving” or “we”) operates RFEngraving.com. R. F. Engraving respects and is committed to protecting its Customer’s privacy. To this end, R.F. Engravinghas created this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes R.F. Engraving's use and sharing of Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) that Customers voluntarily provide to R.F. Engraving. PII may include such information as your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, credit/debit card number, and other personal details not otherwise publicly available. The term “Customer” refers to any visitor to RFEngraving.com. This Privacy Policy applies to the products and services offered by RFEngraving.com. By using RFEngraving.com you are consenting to the collection and use of certain personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
From time to time R.F. Engraving may modify this Privacy Policy. Such modifications to this Privacy Policy shall be effective upon posting by R.F. Engraving on RFEngraving.com. The continued use of RFEngraving.com after R.F. Engraving posts a revised Privacy Policy signifies a Customer’s acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. It is therefore important that Customers review this Privacy Policy regularly to ensure their awareness and understanding of any changes. If R.F. Engraving materially changes its practices regarding collection or use of your PII, your PII will continue to be governed by the Policy under which it was collected unless you have been provided notice of, and have not objected to, the change.
COLLECTION OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII)
R.F. Engraving only gathers PII from Customers who voluntarily submit PII to R.F. Engraving in order to receive products and services from RFEngraving.com. R.F. Engraving Customers can access or change their PII at any time and can control how R.F. Engraving communicates with them by controlling their account settings available on RFEngraving.com.
R.F. Engraving is committed to keeping secure any PII that a Customer provides to us. This Privacy Policy establishes the ordinary use of PII, including who is collecting the information, how the information is being collected, why the information is being collected, and how R.F. Engraving will use the information. Except as described in this Privacy Policy, R.F. Engraving will not share PII with third parties that are not affiliated with R.F. Engraving in a manner that is inconsistent with the purpose for which it was submitted unless R.F. Engraving receives permission from a Customer to do so. If R.F. Engraving obtains PII from a third-party, such as a business partner, R.F. Engraving's use of that information is also governed by this Privacy Policy
RFEngraving.com is a general audience website and does not knowingly collect PII from children under 18 years of age.
R.F. Engraving uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard PII and credit card information in its possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification. In addition, R.F. Engraving uses reasonable methods to make sure that PII is accurate, up-to-date and appropriately complete. R.F. Engraving will take reasonable steps to correct any PII a Customer informs us is incorrect. In the event a Customer requests R.F. Engraving to stop using its PII, R.F. Engraving will honor that request while retaining any record of the Customer’s PII that is necessary to comply with applicable federal, state or local law.
USE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII)
If a Customer has consented to receive promotional materials or notifications from R.F. Engraving, we may periodically use that Customer’s email address to send such materials related to RFEngraving.com, as applicable. A Customer may stop receiving such materials from R.F. Engraving by contacting R.F. Engraving or by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
Employees, agents and contractors of R.F. Engraving must have a business reason to obtain access to a Customer’s PII. R.F. Engraving may share a Customer’s PII with those who help R.F. Engraving manage or operate RFEngraving.com, or with outside contractors, agents or sponsors who help R.F. Engraving with the administration and fulfillment aspects of the products and services available on RFEngraving.com. These outside contractors, agents or sponsors may temporarily store some information on their servers, but they may only use a Customer’s PII to provide R.F. Engraving with a specific service and not for any other purpose. R.F. Engraving may also provide a Customer’s PII to a third-party in those instances where the Customer has chosen to receive certain information and has been notified that the fulfillment of such a request requires the sharing of its PII. R.F. Engraving also may share your PII with Affiliated Companies if it has a business reason to do so.
There may be instances when R.F. Engraving may access or disclose PII without providing its Customers a choice in order to: (i) protect or defend the legal rights or property of R.F. Engraving, our Affiliated Companies or their employees, agents and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements); (ii) protect the safety and security of Customers of RFEngraving.com or members of the public including acting in urgent circumstances; (iii) protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; or (iv) comply with the law or legal process. In addition, if R.F. Engraving sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of all or a material part of its assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business, R.F. Engraving may transfer its Customers PII to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.
COLLECTION AND USE OF OTHER NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (non-PII)
In addition, R.F. Engraving collects other non-PII including IP address, aggregate user data, and browser type. This data is used to manage and improve RFEngraving.com, track usage, and for security purposes.
R.F. Engraving may use non-PII such as cookies and similar tools to customize the content and advertising a Customer receives. The information used for this feature does not provide PII or identify a Customer as an individual to third parties.
R.F. Engraving may customize the advertising and marketing messages you receive on the R.F. Engraving Website, or may work with outside companies to do so. A Customer’s non-PII may be shared with these companies so this customization can be accomplished. R.F. Engraving prohibits these companies from sharing a Customer’s non-PII with any third-party or from using it for any other purpose. Anonymous click stream, number of page views calculated by pixel tags, and aggregated demographic information may also be shared with R.F. Engraving's advertisers and business partners.
COOKIES
Cookies are small bits of information that R.F. Engraving places on a Customer’s computer. R.F. Engraving uses cookies to identify a Customer’s Internet browser, store Customers’ preferences, and determine whether the Customer has installed the enabling software needed to access certain material offered through RFEngraving.com. Data in cookies may be read to authenticate Customer sessions or provide services.
Third party advertisements displayed on RFEngraving.com may also contain cookies set by Internet advertising companies or advertisers (known as “third-party cookies”). R.F. Engraving does not control these third-party cookies and Customers of RFEngraving.com should check the privacy policy of the Internet advertising company or advertiser to see whether and how it uses cookies.
A pixel tag is a tiny image inserted in a webpage and used to record the number and types of views for that page. R.F. Engraving may allow third-party pixel tags to be present on RFEngraving.com for purposes of advertising, providing services or data and statistics collection.
You can program your computer to warn you each time a cookie is being sent, block third-party cookies, or block all cookies. However, by blocking all cookies you may not have access to certain features on RFEngraving.com.
THIRD PARTIES
R.F. Engraving may be linked to Internet sites operated by other companies (including companies affiliated with R.F. Engraving) and may also be linked to advertisements from other companies. R.F. Engraving is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or other services operated by third parties that are linked to or integrated with RFEngraving.com or for the privacy practices of third-party Internet advertising companies. Once a Customer leaves RFEngraving.com via such a link, access a third-party application, or click on an advertisement, the Customer should check the applicable privacy policy of the third-party or advertiser site to determine, among other things, how they will handle any PII they collect.
Some of the advertisements that appear on RFEngraving.com may also be delivered to you by third-party Internet advertising companies. These companies utilize certain technologies to deliver advertisements and marketing messages and to collect non-PII about your visit to or use of rusticfalls.com, including information about the ads they display, via a cookie placed on your computer that reads your IP address.
